This project is a reflection on my four years living in China, my personal visual diary made while traveling and existing in a temporary bubble where everything that caught my eye was stable and calm, far from the chaotic vibe that often overwhelms both outsiders and locals alike. It is an observation of spaces and people, some of them very close to me, others merely passerbyes; a search for peace of mind, a search for a substitute home while being stranded far away from my actual home; a revision of conformist heaven where I need to let go of my past in order to enjoy the present.
